YOU ARE A SEXY SEXY PERSON.
Meant in all the best, not-a-crazy-stalker ways. I mean- you have succesfully made a Reaver and Ezio costumes, two fictional guys I love unhealthily. If you would be so kind, how'd you make this costume as well? (Again, patterns/tips would be much appreciated!)

I LOVE BEING A SEXY SEXY PERSON oaiSFIOANSFONFOIO
Oh man bro I love Ezio unhealthily, too, no worries.
Alright! Ezio was a project, lemme tell ya. This is not a costume to be made if you are FAINT OF HEAAARTT or don't know what you're doing when it comes to sewing.
Okay, long explanation ahead.
We used bed sheets for the fabric, because you get a LOT of fabric for not very much. The colors are very limited, but in the case of making an Assassin's Creed costume, it's not much a problem. Just a bunch of white and red.
We used this pattern: [link]
We modified it so it was the right length to be the stripey-vest. Everything you see that has the stripey pattern on it is this. The stripes, by the way, are red bias tape on top of lace. It's really pretty much impossible to make sure they're all symmetrical with the outfit and each other, but as long as it's nothing DRASTIC it should look okay.
I have a shirt on underneath with poofy sleeves that goes with my traditional Scandinavian bunad/dancing costume, so that bit you may have to make, but there are plenty of poofy sleeved patterns out there.
The under layers are actually a white skirt I had from this costume --> [link] <-- WHICH YOU CAN'T SEEEEE but it went about to my calves. It was a hideous skirt, to be honest, so we had no problem cutting it up. I stood and wore it while my mom looked at a picture of Ezio's outfit and snipped away, starting with the longest piece that hangs down. The fabric left over makes for a brilliant use of the flap on top of that, which we just sewed onto the waistband of the skirt.
There are hard to see details on the skirts, but that was just done with pencil because I'm cheap.
The hood was made with this pattern --> [link] <--, but we added the beak ourselves. I would recommend adding more to the front, because it didn't really cover my face very well. Just make sure to see how it fits you!
The gauntlets were... odd. I put fabric we didn't care about--in this case, yellow felt--around my wrist and then absolutely covered it in clear packing tape, so it was taped to my arm, but only on the fabric. When it was secured, I cut it off and then covered it in the brown fabric seen in the photo, which was an old curtain. We made mine stay on with velcro, however I don't recommend this, as it is CONSTANTLY falling off. Snaps, grommets, or buckles are probably a MUCH better choice.
The glove, leggings, and boots were bought previously. The boots were found at Ross for around 12 dollars, but I have the darndest time finding any more like that there. I'd give Famous Footwear a try, if you can find one, or Icing/Claire's. Strangely, everytime I go into the latter, they have thigh-high boots.
I think that's it! D': Sorry about the long read aoisfoaisfn

Anytime! I'm glad to help. <: I will admit that sewing costumes is a daunting task. If there's any tips or help I can offer, I will gladly give it!
And, if it's early Spring, I would definitely say to make Reaver. Not only is it easier and a faster sewing job, but it's more lightweight, and because the sleeves are long enough, you can wear a short-sleeved shirt underneath if you wanted to stay cool. And if you line it in silk or satin, it'll provide more air to pass through, plus when you wear longer sleeves, it won't catch on the fabric. Ezio's will be a chore to make, I can tell you that now. It's not one you want to rush, either! So yeah, I'd say Reaver.

So you made it out of clay? I was thinking of doing that, but I wasn't sure about it's durability/weight. But if it worked for you, I'll give it a shot! As for the shoulder pad, that was also clay? I was going to make it from pleather (VEGAN POWERS GO) and same with his pouches on his belt. Do you think pleather would be better than clay for the armour?

Ah, the shoulder pad was made out of some leather-like fabric! I think it was suede, actually. ~Lilithnanhart was a darling and gave me some fabric to use, so I'm not sure what it is exactly, haha.
As for the armor, I definitely think so! You can actually use craft foam, and there's a tutorial for it, if you'd like me to link you. c:

Haha, I have no clue. D': But I will trust you!
No prob! Here ya go: [link]
If you get around to doing it, let me know how it goes! I'm gonna have to try it for my new Brotherhood costume, and I'm freakin' out. :I

Thanks! That's a huge help! I'm making the shoulder pads now, and I'm making the belt with the same technique. This is a huge help- thanks so much!
Are you making another Ezio costume?
