Good variety of tones here, and your love of charcoal shows. My charcoal drawings are much more half-assed, because I have about six minutes before the cat in me goes, "UGH! Hands are filthy! And it's getting everywhere! Must wash off now!"
That attitude makes no sense for someone who's fine with being dirt-covered and mud-caked, but I just hate the feeling of charcoal all over my hands.

It was a ton of fun using charcoals. I really liked how you could almost mold and draw at the same time. I didn't feel like I was drawing so much as I was sculpting with it. It's a weird way to describe it, but I liked it. XD
Though is there something poisonous to like excessive charcoal on your hands or skin er something? Our sub made is sound like too much charcoal was a super bad thing but never elaborated on it.

I don't think so, the main issue with charcoal is that once your fingertips get coated, you won't be able to push it around as much, you'll just darken everything you touch. But I'm definitely not a charcoal expert, I've used it a few times when the professor didn't give us any other option and ditched it as soon as we were allowed to go back to pencils or graphite sticks or other mediums.
