Description

Sidney Tucker had a recurring dream. One day one of the many girls he'd left his number with would call him up with a tricky networking problem, he'd go around her place - work or home, it changed with every dream, and it didn't really matter anyway as they'd be alone - impress her with the speed and efficiency with which he got her all connected up again, and she'd demonstrate her admiration and gratitude in many exciting and pleasurable ways. Still, he hadn't expected it to happen so suddenly, so soon, which this particular girl who seemed to have barely registered his existence when he'd given her a generous tip along with the personalized annotated lottery ticket at the pub a few weeks ago. But then, it was often better that way. The ones who did notice him when he handed over his contact details unsolicited tended to make things awkward, to say the least...

Still, all's well that ends well. She'd called him and here he was, expecting to find a little more technology and fewer other women, and not some chap who'd apparently been permanently disconnected from the great WAN of life. Also, she was on her knees in handcuffs, which was kinky but cool, and being watched over by a tall policewoman who seemed to be something of a disciplinarian but also a total milf if one liked that sort of thing - and Sid is an open-minded kind of a fella, so he was sure he could certainly get used to that sort of thing if suitably encouraged...

And then there was the drinks lady who was rocking some kind of uniform and looking at him like he was something the manor cat brought to the kitchen each morning for Cook to prepare his royal felineship for breakfast. And last but certainly not least there was the lady of the house all dressed up for the evening with her natural assets beautifully displayed alongside her jewellery and looking at him with a speculative glint in her eye, like she'd always wondered what a pet nerd would be like and here was one she could take care of in any way she saw fit.

Sid had the uncomfortable feeling of a dog who had not only caught the car but a whole fleet of them and now they were circling him, revving their engines while arguing all the time who among them would have the pleasure of giving him the ride of his life and hopefully not which of them would run him over. It was a metaphor that barely held together or indeed made any sense at all, but it was the best that could be assembled under the current circumstances and not that important in the grand female-shaped scheme of things anyway.

He barely acknowledged the frisson of fear he felt mingled with all the excitement. Just breathing seemed to take more effort than he was accustomed to. "In and out, lad," he told himself, "In and out. You'll soon get the hang of it again, and if you're lucky, many other things as well."
