And finally, the big, the bad, the indigo, Sunstar himself! He's a real pain, but he is a final boss, so it's to be expected... Usually. I tried the Grab Buster on him, but it doesn't work, and I didn't want to risk it with any of the other Stardroid weapons besides Terra's Spark Chaser, which proves immensely useful in Wily Star! When it gets to the 3rd phase, he starts summoning fire rain, which can only be stopped if he's hurt during the lead-up to it, which is easiest accomplished with Tango and/or the above-mentioned Spark Chaser!

When the fight ends, Rock tries to befriend Sunstar, no wonder people paint him as the Twilight Sparkle of robots, but then, what a twist!, Sunstar reveals that his fusion reactor's about to blow and Wily Star will be no more! Some say it's pretty genuine, the way he says that, and even moreso in the original Japanese version, where he goes on about how his civilization was never peaceful and so him dying is the only way peace can come back, or something like that.

But I have a strange imagination, and so have the most bizarre headcanons. Such as the Stardroids coming to Earth once before, long before the events of even the first game and inspiring the creation of 10 special Robot Masters, most notably Sunstar with Pharaoh Man, Mars with Napalm Man, and Pluto with Slash Man; Cossack and crew leaving for Dubai by the time the Stardroids tried to take over the solar system; and of course, Sunstar having lied about his fusion reactor and being perfectly okay.
