The first one was meant to be the only one, but I was inspired to make another. I don't know if I'll be putting them on FIMFiction, but we'll see. For now though some short stories throughout their lives together.
Celestia's character is based off Silfoe's take on her, because it's my favorite portrayal of her that I've seen and read thus far.

(I don't usually do this for commission pieces that look so... personal, but this picture captured my heart and attention, so please forgive me. If the artist or the person who commissioned this feel this has gone too far, please tell me and I'll delete it. Otherwise, I hope it does this picture, and those in it, justice.)
Laying before the fireplace in their suite in Canterlot Castle, Celestia lays beside the aged and weary form of her beloved husband. His breath labored, and eyes barely open, he does his best to smile up at her weakly in a way that sets her heart beating all the faster even all these years after she'd first seen it.
Returning the smile with a bright one of her own, despite the tears clouding her vision, Celestia extends a wing over his back and pulls him close.
"There it is," Gentle Breeze says softly, his once rich voice worn down by age and illness. "There is the bright sun I've always loved." Slowly, he reaches up and brushes a hoof against her cheek, wiping away some of her tears. "Why does my sun weep? What are these tears that cloud her bright eyes and smile?"
"I'm losing you," Celestia replies softly, the tears running freely now. "And it hurts."
"We knew this day would come, dear Sun," he replies, pausing as he coughs and his entire body shakes and stiffens for a moment before he is able to breath again. Laying his head against Celestia's neck, Notorious sighs softly, then he looks up at Celestia, the love of his life, and sings softly.
"May it be, an evening star shines down upon you," the song causes Celestia's ears to perk up, and her smile lessens as he continues. "May it be, when darkness falls," he reaches up and gently places a shaking hoof against her chest, his breath labored as he does his best to not cough, "your heart will be true." Taking another deep breath, his eyes unfocusing slightly, he pins his ears back and forces the next out. "You walk a lonely road. Oh!" He pauses, coughing at the force of the word, but continues, "how far from home you are..."
He trails off, his body going limp against Celestia, who without even thinking pulls him close and continues the goodbye.
"Mornie utΓΊliΓ«; Believe and you will find your way," her voice is rough as she closes her eyes, laying her head atop his as she listens to his shallow breathing. "Mornie alantiΓ«; A promise lives within you."
Taking a deep breath, she looks towards the ceiling, the words flowing forward as freely as her tears.Β
"May it be, the Shadow's call, will fly away," She smiles softly, closing her eyes and opening her mouth to continue, only to have her husband pickup the tune again.
"May it be, you jo-journy on," his voice is weaker, his breathing nearly non-existant, "to l-light the day."
"When the night is overcome," Celestia whispers, leaning down to softly kiss the top of her husband's head, right between his ears. "You may rise, to find the sun."
As she kisses him, she feels him go stiff for a moment, then settle down.
"Mornie utΓΊliΓ«; Believe, and you shall find your way," Celestia whispers, feeling his breath grow more shallow beside her, "Mornie alantiΓ«; A promise lives within you now."
And then, she feels it; he takes one long breath...
And exhales his last.
Closing her eyes again, Celestia holds the lifeless form close, her breath catching as she whispers one final word into his ear, praying he can still hear her.
"Goodbye."
And then, the tears take her.

So, I think it's a wonderful idea to go and write more about their relationship, as from what I saw in the short story that you wrote about the picture it was a really heartfelt relationship, and I'd love to see more about their life.
