Of course, thanks to all the dress changes, I was reminded of something with her hat and coat ensemble. Β She could have been Carmen Sandiego. Β

Mmm that little mystery veil always comes up in those old stories where people play the detective game. It's always the victim that tends to have it so it was a big throw back to show that Rarity may love the fancy look but she is very much, not the damsel in distress as she has shown in the past. Β Β I like how you try to make her still look delicate, but you are showing she has some inner strength at the same time which is utterly true. Β Mmm the boa I believe? Β Is also a nice touch in all honesty, both in this and on screen. Β I wonder if it was hard to make it seem so furry in even the shade of the lighting.

Yeah, it was a great episode. Just played L.A. Noir, and they captured the whole black and white noir atmosphere quite well while still keeping things pony and true to the universe. Too bad you aren't allowed to smoke cigarettes on US TV shows...that's all they lacked (and of course a Colt six shooter).
