1st Entry I've actually been on time to enter into a contest.Made for BLACK MAGIC CONTEST: [link]
"A wan moon cast it's pale light down upon the ruins, bathing the scene eerily in it's glow. The world sat silent, the grim foreboding of the evil to come. The tattooed markings of Aenirli cold against her skin. More power than she had ever imagined boiling within her blood, burning and chilling her all at once; and now with the Orb of the dead within her grasp, even greater than before. The power to combine and control the souls of the forsaken and bend them to her will.
The combined pain and suffering of thousands of dark souls cried out from within the Orb, begging for release. Stilling her mind of the chaotic swirl within, she raised the Orb in her left hand, the edges of her mind caressing the artefact as a lover might, seeking a link to it's noxious powers.
It was not as she had imagined, instead of the brutal ravaging of power that arced through her body when she used the tainted arts, she instead felt only a deathly whisper, as an alien presence made itself known in her mind, the sound of scales on stone as the power slithered through her conducting itself through the vessel that was her being, filling, defiling, violating her already dark soul. It fed... Drawing upon her power as it took shape within her, cooling the flames of her art into something heavier, darker and far more potent. It waited now, amassed and ready, seeking a pathway, not destructively, but seductively, it rested within her, a serpent coiled to strike, evil, macabre, patient and eager.
The Orb glowed coldly in her hand as she extended her arm forth and gave the Evil purpose and direction, lightning arced across her fingertips, the boiling pain of her own power quenched yet strengthened by the Orb's own malignant influence. The Darkness began to take shape, drawing from within her and itself as a channel to the unimaginable materialized in her palm.
The corners of her mouth twisted upwards in an almost imperceptible smile as she reveled in throes the Black magic, the tainted darkness that she now unleashed upon the world... "

thats amazing. I found this because I was looking at the zombie stock and saw that you had used it. I love the concept and the compiliation of photoes. It took me a second to realize there were humnan faces among the skulls. I really like it. :d
