BIO - Ellie Juniper is a young rookie cop, originally from Texas. She is Luna Starbuck's exceedingly loyal and dedicated protégé. Polite and professional, Ellie knows all too well she has much to learn about being a cop, and does not permit herself the luxury of referring to her mentor by her first name, choosing instead to refer to Luna almost exclusively as "Ma'am." Ellie is very obedient and attentive to her mentor, following her instructions with great precision and respect. She is bright and sunny in her disposition, but emulative of her mentor's sterner behavior when on the job.

She is not without her faults: Her relentless desire to impress her mentor sometimes overcomes her reason, and she has been known to jump into situations that exceed her abilities, resulting in her often being kidnapped and used as leverage against Luna.

She is very skilled with a rope--lassoing and knot tying are second nature to her. She is also an experienced marksman. Her roping and sharpshooter abilities are talents carried over from her Texas upbringing, as is her thick southern accent. Her abilities in hand-to-hand combat are very limited, however. When off duty, she often trains with Luna to enhance her fighting capabilities.
