The picture has an ethereal quality to it. Excellent play of light and shadow. The eye is drawn to the center, where the light is strongest, on the needles. The muted green and purple, and the rainbow effect on the bottom, left are quite captivating.
Don't know if it's a butterfly in the center, but that's what it looks like, and it's a nice touch. The composition of the photo is also well done. This picture fills me with warmth and happiness to look at it. Don't know why, but it just feels like a celebration of life. I love this picture. Good job!

So many colors, it's truly dazing!

There's just something about the way the sun hits the pine needles that makes it so...mysterious (is the only word I can think of at the moment 
I mean, I've seen pretty pictures of nature before on here, but nothing quite like this.
