Winter is definitely the time to visit zoos that are open all year. You'll find that many of the animals are far more active. I have been to Turtleback Zoo many times, and this is the first time I have gotten any good shots of the wolves there.~*~

Thank you and yes, it's fun to go in winter, but it IS cold, brrr! lol During my recent trip to the Philly Zoo in PA I was frozen by the end of the day!
