Daniel Brühl as Niki Lauda on RUSH was amazing - really fucking amazing. As an Austrian and thanks to my dad being a huge Formula 1 fan I can say I've seen a LOT of the real Lauda on television and in the papers throughout the years and Brühl's performance was spot-on.
Chris Hemsworth portraying James Hunt was really, really good as well - heck, the whole movie was amazing. *.*

I had quite a hard time finding proper references for this piece. Since there are close to none stills from the movie available that show Lauda with his helmet on 'I had to improvise and merge four different photos of Daniel Brühl, Niki Lauda(the real one), his helmet and the helmets of other racing pilots for reference in my head to pop out the drawing you see here! true racing fans(like my dad) will probably recognize that his helmet isn't 100% accurate, but I'm over giving a shit.
