I'm very excited to have gotten the pictures from London Expo from the photographer. This is the only one I have time to upload now, so there will be more later.

First view of my new take on Germany. (I took the idea from this from a popular fan twist "Dark Side Germany", much like this [link] ). This costume is quite borderline in regards to how careful one should be with sensitive subjects. There is a reason I have steered away from the red arm-band that shows in many illustrations, because this was obviously used with the Swastika, and some people might take offence. Also, wearing some medals, I make sure they sit on the opposite side of my chest than what they traditionally do, as you're not supposed to wear military medals you have not earned, and I find it important to respect such. It is purely meant for cosplay-reasons, and I'd never wear it outside an actual con-venue where people wouldn't know it was all for costume-purposes. This cosplay is pieced together carefully with a lot of thought, and I've gotten a LOT of help from *Sasu-Jess with it. She's brilliant and educated on the matter of German war history, and she's taught me and helped me a lot.

That said; I love wearing this cosplay! It makes me feel so very strickt than anything has ever done, and it makes being in-character a lot easier, just because it feels that much sharper. The hat.. Oh, don't get me talking about the hat! It looks so good, and it makes me feel extremely tall, it's insane! After all, these uniforms were originally designed by Hugo Boss, so no wonder they look so sharp.

Also, I don't think I've ever had so many pictures taken of me, along with my Prussia. People wanted pictures non-stop, it was crazy! And so much fun!!

*Sasu-Jess has done a wonderful new take on her Prussia. She'll have some photos up on her dA once she has time to get them there, and she'll also be in a few of the ones I will post later. iWe also both feature in a cosplay film that was filmed at Expo, which I will post a link to once it's available. We look badass, let me tell you that!

So yeah, I think this might be one of my all-time favourite costumes. I just am so thrilled by how it looks and feels to wear. Temperature-wise it's so comfortable! It keeps me warm outside, but it keeps rather cool inside. I just love it so much <3
