Description My latest small cosplay. Prince Phobos of Meridian, from the first saga of the W.I.T.C.H. comic books. Man, I loved that series when I was little! Started reading it when the first number came out, and went at it for years! Too bad it kinda went downhill after a while

Going back and doing research for this costume was a lot of fun. I was excited to be a part of this cosplay group we put together for Banzaicon in Norway mid-april. In the end, we had people cosplaying Will, Hay Lin, Cornelia, Caleb and Elyon as well. So many people got excited about our costumes, and it was so nice!!

It was so windy that day, and my hat would not stay on for the life of it! Only had two hair pins! Need to install more if I'm wearing this in the future! Costume, wig, beard (hand sewn) and make-up by me. Most difficult is to get the dress on, as it's in one piece with no zippers and the collar attached XDD Genius...

I'm also devastatingly sexy with a beard. I will have to do more bearded characters in the future. True fax.

Oh wow, this is amazing. I bet making that dress was very exhausting. I'm coslaying Elyon sometime next year but I'm doing er casual clothes since I know I could never make her teal dress...

Thanks a lot The worst part was just the length of the seams, haha!!! I had to sew for ages XD Ahh, good luck with your Elyon! I want to attempt to make her purple dress at one point, just because it's so pretty... I'm also planning to make her mother's dress C: Have fun!!

awesomely made! you look great as Phobos.
I too followed it since number one and followed it for years, but gave up when it reached those new forms and the evil tree-thingy. Shame, I really loved the first numbers, obviously, Phobos and Nerissa story arcs were the best. I had my old computer filled with Witch stickers

Thank you very much. This costume was quite a tricky one with the collar and the length and everything XD Wearing massive heels under this to gain height, even though I'm 5'9.5" originally, haha. I'm glad you like it. Yeah, I agree. The first arcs were by far the best, then they just lost me a little. And oh, hahaha, I beat you, my entire window in my childhood room was filled with WITCH glass paint. A seriously huge amount!!

Hehe, yeah, it's easy to forget that it was Disney x3 Gods, me too. The window in my old children's room is still full of glass painting of all of them XDD All the guardians, Matt, Caleb, you name it... XD I was such a geek.

But the first two arcs, those concerning Phobos and the battle of Narissa were glorious! I continued reading a while after that too, but remember exactly where I let off. Thanks for your comment! C:

I LOVE IT! it looks amazing. so fun to see fans of the series cosplaying my favorite characters. I agree that the series went downhill after a while, I prefer only the first arc, and prince Phobos was so "wicked" evilish

What an amazing cosplay! You know itΒ΄s nice to see someone cosplaying W.I.T.C.H.
Here in Finland I have only seen on Cornelia and that is sad. They used to be my childhood heroes .p Your wig and make up looks very stunning.
This brinks many memories I loved the series until I grew up from because it changed so much giving them new powers and all and they didnΒ΄t do sagas anymore .__.

Thank you so much! It was really nice that we got such a big group together, considering I haven't seen W.I.T.C.H cosplayers before, really. I was also such a big fan of it in my childhood! Loved it to pieces, and read every number for years! I was sad when it changed, it was too bad! But I still enjoyed very much going back to read the first arc for reasearch as I've kept them all!!
