*Ahem* yes, today we join our adventurers, the brave and cocky boss, and her loyal sidekick the stubborn Bat, for their first real adventure together, as they travel through the land compelled with mysteries and strange tales, I'll be your narrator through this adventure. So today our heroes step through the mysterious forest as they approach the sign dungeon ..

The young woman currently known as boss, approaches the large abandoned looking dungeon just at the end of the forests footpath. The large building appears to be as abandoned as the sign that stands near it's entrance, mostly because nature has taken it's way around the ruins, as it's covered with leaves and vines all around the brickwalls, except the open entrance that's covering a pitch black area to keep most visitors at bay.

a rag covering her mouth, and a spiked bat across her shoulders.
As the wind blew around, the girl stood near the sign.
A soft mumbling sound came from her shoulders.

" Excuse me! I'd like to read this sign, may I? "

A cocky voice began to mumble, it was Bat, her talking weapon and steady companion ( So she hoped ).

" I was gonna read it loud, may I? "
The girl responded with a soft hissing but commanding tone, to which the Bat groaned onto her shoulders.

" Fine .. " Giving into her weapon, she took him into her right hand, giving him a chance to read the strange text that was written on this dungeons entrance.

" Geachte bezoeker, deze text is geschreven in een andere taal om u en uw vriend te verwarren.
Dit bord heeft in geen geval iets te maken met deze vreemde tempel "

The two took a while pausing and attempting to read this strange language.
But after a minute the two began to look at each other.

" What do you suppose that means? Maybe it's a warning of the danger inside "

The bat nodded in disagreement with his friend.
" No way! There must be treasure inside, and the one behind that sign is too greedy to share, it's a sign!! "
The awkward pun made by the Bat left Boss giving herself a facepalm while the Bat began to wink his eyebrows and smirk.

" Wasn't it good? Come on, that's a good pun "

The girl sighed to herself, but for the sake of the adventure she nodded to agree for once with her partner.

" Shall we head inside now? Or perhaps you'd like to sign up for comedy class" She began to laugh at her own joke, as Bat only began to return an angry look as response. His expression showed her just how much he liked the joke.

" Enough comedy, let's get ass kicked in there! "

And so the duo stepped inside the pitch black temple, expecting danger at every possible angle, but to their surprise several torches were lit across the walls, providing them enough light to see their current path in front of them.

The two walked through the intensely long hallway which was mild for a dark, spooky, covered with cobwebs and several bats hanging upside down the ceiling, staring at the visitors. With each step the floor merely crumbled, as it the very temple was alive, yet there was no sign of life except the several bats just mentioned hanging upside down.

The two stopped abruptly in front of two signs.
One stood near an entrance to the left, and the other to the opposite, near the right also covering an entrance.

Boss scratches the back of her head in confusion, and began to pay close attention to the left sign.

" Do not believe that sign, it's lying! Turn left! "

Confident to take that turn, but still looking at the second sign to see what that would say.

" Turn right, that other sign is trying to fool you! "

" Who's idea was it to put two signs in here! " Bat began to yell.
" Was it you! " Bat asked upset as the two looked at a suspicious looking guy, standing in a corner with a paint brush in his hands.
But the man ignored his question, and responded by quickly running away.

" It's obviously a riddle " Boss said compelled.
She looked at the left sign followed by the right, and then turned back to the sign on the left, leaving Bat's eyes rolling around several times before he began to groan and mumble some words.

" Look, the left sign is obviously lying, we gotta head right "
Bat disagreed by nodding.

" That's what he wants you to think! Look, the right sign knows the other sign is up to something, so we gotta head left "

" That makes no sense .. " She responded as she looked around the room, aiming for a clue if even a small one.
But all around was the paint bottle, and some mice chewing the cheese left for them.

" Well, you're the leader, you take the turn to the right. But if we encounter some giant boss mice, you'll have no one to blame but yourself! "

" And what if some evil boss mice is around the other room huh? It's not like we've found a map yet or anything in a well placed chest here "

Those words began to ring a bell, and made Bat smile.

" Genius, start smashing the brick walls for clues! "

Boss couldn't believe that Bat actually had a bit of an idea, but she refused to give him credit nor even satisfaction. She approached a brick wall, and slammed at it with the bat, resulting in a bit of dust covering the destroyed mark.

Coughing while sweeping the dust away, she stared at a piece of pork chop laying there.

" It's ..chicken? " Boss mumbled, confused.

" That's just dumb, who'd cook chicken and hide it behind a wall!? "

Bat rolled his eyes, and turned around as he looked at the strange man again, this time holding both a pick axe and another piece of chicken, before he began to run away again.

" Better keep this in my inventory " Boss responded by putting it mysteriously into her bag.

" So, what path do we take again? " Bat began to ask, returning the previous subject, as it seemed hitting the wall hasn't gotten them anywhere further other than destroying dungeon property.

" We'll turn right, trust me "

And even though Bat mumbled something about her being a bad leader, the duo began to enter the room near their right, exploring and getting deeper into the dungeon ..

Will this path lead to treasure or was Bat actually right?
Will the chicken actually taste properly?
