Right, this is a pretty picture because of the red in the middle and the pale pink of the flower.
However the red bit is out of focus, and some parts around the outside lack focus, and the compostion of it isn't that original. We do recieve hundreds of flower pictures like this.
To improve, I would probably suggest trying to fit the whole flower in at an interesting angle, and take multiple shots to see which works best.
