Description Cibo (white-haired woman) and Killy (man) from the manga Blame!

What can I say, I'm a lady, and prone to wanting to pair up fictional characters. Even though Blame! is not about romance.... I 'ship Killy/Cibo. They can't spend all their time searching for genes/data and fending off killer robots. I don't care how things ended. (the original artist/author did make their own parody manga, Blame Academy, where Killy very much appreciated seeing Cibo naked, even though she didn't... ha... so I'll use that to back my claim).

Tried to keep it tasteful, but marked 'mature' just in case.

The thing about BLAME! : Even though I don't always get it, I still like it. Biomega was nice too.

Both Blame! and Biomemga were less about "getting it" and more appreciating the art and world-building.

Very good, I totally love it. Ironically I used to always picture these two paired, but then Nehei had Cibo and Sanakan have a kid and I was like Huh? Is that the canon pairing?? And since then I haven't thought much on it.
Anyways, thank-you for this lovely reminder

Yeah, the two women having the baby (and then Killy caring for it) was very random to me as well! I'll always prefer Killy/Cibo

totally awesome! I love blame, in all its steampunk-ish (using that lightly because its not completely but slightly) glory... so pretty detail and true to the style!

It's actually cyberpunk... in the same category as "Ghost in the Shell" and "Blade Runner"... anything set in the future with lots of cyborgs and rogue computer programs would be cyberpunk. Steampunk is set in the past, vaguely based the Victorian era/industrial revolution... with lots of steam, gears, goggles, hot-air-balloons, trains, and old-time outfits.

Wikipedia article on Cyberpunk: [link]
(and an article on Steampunk: [link] )

to quote: "Classic cyberpunk characters were marginalized, alienated loners who lived on the edge of society in generally dystopic futures where daily life was impacted by rapid technological change, an ubiquitous datasphere of computerized information, and invasive modification of the human body."

But thank you The hardest part was getting the right colors, because they don't live in a very colorful world, but I didn't want the whole picture to be grey.

Ok yeah, that's probably what i was thinking about when i said the steam punk, I am not horribly into either since its too easy to be called a poser or have them misclassified as i have done lol...

I have to say the prettiest part of the series (if you could call it that) was all the explosions and such, i am a fan of the type of style.

I'm into both only casually. Some people are into it like a lifestyle, even dressing the part. I just like the occasional movie/book/comic/piece of art.

He can draw a good explosion. The part I liked best were the landscapes. Since the artist was an architect before he got into comics, he's very good at making backgrounds. The megastructure really did look like it went on forever and ever.
