The earliest memory I have is being a baby in a crib, and being terrified that shadows (from the bars) would eat me. Very brief memory. I also have many people in my life who I can't remember how they looked or what their names were, but do remember their emotional impact on me. You'll see a few shadow-scribble people in Bryant's backstory.
