Heyo, I'm back on the Fairy Tail bype train this week with a complete overhaul of an old OC!!

She used to be a self insert of sorts; used my default kind of magic, half heartedly shipped with my favorite character at the time and all around a bit boreing!!
Well, I am happy to say that Amara Xeno has been revamped and revitalized into a whole new character... Meet: Lux Boreas!!

Lux is a nineteen year old mage and a member of the Fairy Tail guild, having joined the guild as a young teenager.
Before becoming a guild wizard, Lux lived her life as a traveling mage, moving from town to town, helping those in need with her magic. She had no real family, her parents having dissapeared when she very young, so she contented herself to travel the continent helping those around her in exchange for food, shelter and occasionally jewel.
Despite her young age, she was well known, some even beliving her to be some type of goddess or celestial being due to her ethereal appearance and light based magic. She insisted that she was just a normal young mage, but that didn't stop some people from worshiping the ground she walked on.
Everywhere she went, Lux left behind an ever growning legion of devoted followers who worshiped her as a goddess. By the time she reached Fairy Tail, shortly after her fifteenth birthday, she had become a bit of a legend. People whom she'd never even met, began worshiping her as an allmighty force for peace and good until she had amassed something of a cult following. Majority of this following were just simple townsfolk who had heard rumors of an ethereal young woman who moved from place to place, helping others without hesitation. They saw Lux as a guiding light; a kind soul that they could learn from.

As much as she liked to see the positive differance sbe had made for so many, Lux found herself wanting to escape the constant attention and praise. She wanted desperatly to be seen for who she really was instead of the idealozed image of her that had come to be the norm.
She decided to join Fairy Tail in the hopes of finding people who she could call family and who would want to know the the real her.

As for magic, Lux uses a form of lost magic called Fairy Aura.
Fairy Aura is a powerful light based form of magic that allows it's user to project and manipulate an aura of light using the magic energy around them. It is versitle, though difficult to handle, and often described as very breathtaking to see in use.
Lux has learned many different ways to use it, though her prefered ways are similure to maker and slayer magics respectively.

I hope you like this revamp!! I had a lot of fun working with it!!
I'de also like to give a quick shout out to some friemds on discord who helped me choose a design and rebuild her backstory!! I couldn't have done it without their input and feedback!!
