Suppose at some point I should actually do descriptions haha.
Not a friend, the other character is Aiko's sister Kaori. The initial growth was Aiko's attempt at a 'magical transformation' to hide identity while a superhero. She idolises Kaori so tried to make her body match. When Kaori hugs her Aiko panics from embarrassment and shrinks herself inadvertently shrinking Kaori too.
