It must have been pure torture asking his friend Suzaku to kill him. But he did this to destroy the New World Order as the hatred of the world had focused on him and thus the new Zero would be viewed as a liberator of Britannia, Japan, China, and all the rest.

We saw him grow up his beginning as a vengeful exiled prince his rise as zero the leader of the black knights giving hope to a world ruled by fear. And yes at times he was cruel ambitious and every bit as merciless as the empire he hailed from. But in the end he looked to the future, and became what the world needed... a universal evil, at least the appearance of. Badass anime

.. I have to say, for 2 whole year, i always thought Code Geass looked like a stupid anime, and i didn't even bother to read the synopsis.. After i read it, i started the anime, and then i watched the whole thing in 2-3 days.. How did i miss such a great anime?

Oh my goodness i just finished watching Code Geass TODAY and let me tell you. I CRIED LIKE A BABY!! When everything was revealed and Lelouch was killed by Zero who is NOT Zero, but Suzaku and Lelouch is all like, "Suzaku, you hafta kill me" and he's all like, "i have successfully destroyed the world now i'm gonna rebuild it. With my DEATH." flkasnwioayufefagsdajkvbf I SWEAR THIS SERIES HAD A PLOT TWIST AT THE END OF EVERY SINGLE EPISODE I LOVED IT SO FREAKING MUCH THANK YOU FOR THIS. WHEN I SAW IT, A FRESH FLOOD OF TEARS BURST OUT OF NOWHERE. THANK YOOOOU!!!

i finished watching this anime last night and this scene is the saddest one of all. when "zero" showed up and killed him. i was almost yelling "kill him" and "dont kill him" at the same time. but for some reason i couldnt cry.
