Are you painting it with acrylics?
Why don't you have a go at Spanish Style Marbling the canvas before you paint it. look it u on youtube its very good.
Also why not have a go at stretching your own mini canvas.
Things like this are cheap to make, quick to do and can bring in a bit of money as well.
