ALRIGHT!Chapter 9, this is the next to last chapter, after this there will only be one more!
This one is probably going to be the most intense, brutal, action-packed and insane chapter so far. I think it will be relatively long but I will try to keep it on >30 pages, but we will see how things turn out. Hopefully I will be able to work on this a little everyday and get new pages out to you an a regular basis

Great events are foreshadowing and your cover reflects that perfectly. I like it how you used the colors as well as the words to show the duality of things. White against black translates to good against evil, Yin and Yang; the Revenant can also be read as the Raven and...
I also can see that the body of the "good" aka Kurama/Naruto is far smaller than the one of the "bad" aka Sasuubi, nevertheless Kurama/Naruto face the danger to protect the village, I guess. The Rinnegan eye in the background, tainted by the paw sign of the fox, is a surplus hint to the never giving up attitude of Naruto and desperate struggle that will happen.
And even though the odds for Naruto and Kurama are very bad, I can't but get the impression that they still have a chance against the Sasuubi. Somehow that little fox seems to bug the Sasuubi... like getting to Sasuke's heart maybe and maybe, just maybe the Juubi isn't invulnerable to feelings as well. She must feel lonesome, betrayed and abandoned to have such a great amount of anger inside her. But as we all know even a woman's angriest heart can be calmed down by true love in the end... so let's see. (Just me hoping for a happy end, but who am I fooling? XD)
There will be a lot of character deaths and destruction, I guess, but I have a hunch that it won't be the last word of it...
Won't tell anything more of my hunch, but I bet you... errh, Sasuubi'll let off some steam in this chapter. 
Great drawing, I like it how you managed to catch the mood so perfectly, Kurama's bristled fur and bared fangs against a really pissed Juubi who looks like an angry dragon. (Considering that the Juubi united with Sasuke who masters the Katon Jutsu, it's even possible she can spit fire. LOL)
Don't set yourself under too much pressure, dear, any pace is fine. Look how far you have come, just 2 chapters left to the end. You once stopped your doujinshi at issue 50, as I remember, and now we're on page 193 already!!! You long overrounded Jasu's number of pages and even if she'd have finished it, your doujinshi would contain more pages than hers. Also your plot is way more dramatic and meaningful, I'd say. You deserve a mighty pat on the back.

Well, I am glad you think so! I wanted to keep it simple to not spend too much time on a cover page and rather get on with the actual pages, but somehow the simplicity also made the message stronger, so it was a win win

Heheheh, well honestly I haven't even thought about that for a long time. Seems like I could finally let go of my frustrations surrounding Jasu, which is actually amazing. Her leaving was probably one of the greatest things that have happened in my doujinshi career, not because she gave up the fandom and disappointed thousands of people, but because of that great talk I had with her. Now I rarely think of her and when I do it is pretty much only the good things. ^.^
I have been looking forward to this chapter for a long time, so I am actually excited about drawing this and also knowing that the end is within reach is also encouraging. I want to finish this, however long it takes and then I hope there will still be a business for the 'Narusasu' so that I can start a new one, because I really want to continue, but if there isn't a marked for it then things are looking pretty dark. But we will see what the future holds

I even went so far to go on Jasu's old TumblR account to count the number of pages by hand. I think there were 185 every little sketch included. She said that there wasn't supposed to be much more anyway, soo....
It's a good thing you're not thinking about your rivalry anymore. Life is too precious fo waste it with such things.
I think there will always be a "market" for Sasunaru/Narusasu, but it's also true that the fandom has lost over two third of its supporters. Many just moved on to another series where they can ship other male pairings. But that doesn't mean it would be pointless to do such art. The hearts of people are changing so often, you shouldn't get distracted by that. I had almost the same doubts about my fanfiction, but then a friend said: It's a good thing as long as you at least make one other person happy. And damn, she's right!
I am excited to see your new ideas realized, but I'll respect your decision no matter which it will be. It's your time, you just have it once, so you have to decide. Anyway, keep up the good work. I know you will, no matter the subject.

that look like a vs of Kurama and the ten tails extreme battle a bit to begin...
it's a great cover... but it also giving me bad chills...
and I just wish there were a way to help Sasuke stopping it... I wish there were an actually way for Naruto to get "inside" and help Sasuke from the inside out... something maybe at the style of Bee... who without special eye power could help Naruto in certain way... until Kushina appeared and well help him to control Kurama's power... but well in this case will be against the ten tails... *glup* 
anyway... I can't wait to find out how he (Naruto) will stop it... and save his lover teme...
