Hm. Judging by the size of this cat's head and the stockiness of its build, and also the large size of the spots, I think this might be a jaguar. I could very well be wrong, but I know that jaguars have big black rosary spots with dots in the middle, and I know they're much shorter and more heavy-set than leopards. Like I said I could be wrong, but it might be worth looking into to make sure.
However, you captured this specimen excellently. This is a truly beautiful shot.

You are correct. I am not sure why i titled it as a leopard. The zoo i was at also had snow leopards so maybe i just wasn't using my brain when i titled this photo. Thank you for pointing that out!

Luckily for me, this is a very new exhibit and most of the glass was still decently clean. reflections were still giving me trouble though. i had to cycle through quite a few bad ones

there was glass between myself and the leopard at the chattanooga zoo

it was great! that leopard was pacing around in circles sometimes passing the glass, sometimes stopping and staring through it.
