A collaboration with we did on New Year holidays
Looks like a huge piece for me, yeah XD?Artz did just an awesome cityscape sketch and I colored it. Used A3 paper, watercolors mixed with white gouache and detailed with black liner and markers. Also some photoshop edits after all!
The piece is showing my character Hau, jumping and flying over the roofs in search of fun, I guess. There is a poster with Artz's Katya as well
Also there is some kind of spoiler in the drawing if you look closer 
I must say this painting was hella challenging but fun for me XD I rarely draw buildings, cities as well. I think it's actually the first time I did such a detailed full colored piece with so many buildings :0 Also I felt a bit uncomfortable with paper and watercolors, but it turned out fine. And yes, my favorite good old wings and feathers here too XD SOME FREAKING COMBO. So yeah, big piece * feels proud *

Okay that's it, you're a master with traditional media x_x Saw this after I spotted your drawing of Scorpius and went.. ohmygod you ain't going to tell me this is traditional too ;u; BUT IT IS.
Pffsh look at all those wonderful textures on the roof's tiles and that glass on the building ;u; I envy your perspective skills here too ;-; Buildings are a challenge on their own along with the perspective challenges that comes with drawing them XDΒ
I also really like how you managed to get the various light sources to work so well. I always found light sources to be very problematic to calculate with traditional media xD I think the way you rendered the lighting on the streets on the foreground and the faded light in the background coming up from the streets are my favourite parts <3 It looks very convincing!
The sign with the carnival notice has made me curious haha. You mentioned once that your characters also celebrate a form of Carnaval :> I wonder what their carnaval's celebration is about, maybe about a certain special moment in history or maybe they celebrate their gods? Just curious <3

Yeah I spent a while with getting sure how lighting should work here uh...Luckily, I see night city a lot, from actually that hight....My railway goes on some kind of hill, so I see massive buildings from top :3 And I enjoy drawin reflexions, sadly, sometimes I am not that good in space/perspective understanding, not so clever yet XD But I guess here is more or lessΒ RIGHT and it looks good :>
huhu, well, that's going to be a surprise...we plan something and we actually drew our deadline here XD And just saying, it has almost nothing with my storyline carnival set ( I was talking about Shaia fire carnival, where they celebrate the birth of fire godess :3 )Β

It must be awesome to be able to see the cities from a high-ground perspective sometimes... here in the Netherlands I don't see building tops at all with the land being as flat as a sheet of paper X,D Only time I see building roofs is when I happen to visit some high building in Rotterdam...Β
And I fail a lot with drawing perspective as well X,D Especially organic round forms... they are hard to draw in perspective (looks at arms and legs).Β
But hey, we will both reach that point one day we will be EXPERTS. I'm sure

Aha I always had trouble with buildings, cause it's visible if you made a mistake XDΒ
It's actually a very important part of Jeck's story as well XD I still have much to draw about this, but I've switched to other OCs and concepts for now x)
