I've been watching a lot of Death Battle lately. I seriously love these things. Here we have the fight between Hopper from A Bug's Life and Cutter from Antz.

Why they should fight – Both are flying insects with nasty streaks that serve as ruthless leaders to their colonies.

Battle scenario – Hopper is looking for a new ant colony to enslave, and after coming across a new one decides to do his standard threat and intimidation tactic. But Cutter is the colonel of this colony, and he's not about to let a grasshopper tell them what to do.

Predicted winner – This would be a fun battle, but the victory would go to Cutter. Unlike the ants that Hopper is used to intimidating, Cutter is not one to bow down and submit to anyone that's not a superior officer, and is quite ruthless, and unlike those ants, he knows what his species is capable of, and uses it to his advantage. Hopper may have size on his side, and he knows how to intimidate, but he's not actually as strong as an ant. He's fully aware of what the ants are capable of, and the ants from Antz know it too. Ants are actually capable of lifting fifty times their weight, and we even saw them do this in the movie, and even witnessed them take down giant termites. Compared to those monsters, Cutter should be able to take down Hopper without much effort. Winner, Cutter.
