I think we called them like Jovis or something at my primary, something to do with those bloody plastic crayons.
They were sold for like 20c at the canteen thingy and the best day of my life (in Year 4, at least) was when we managed to butter up the lunch lady enough so she gave us (for 40c) the bottom of the Jovi container - holding millions of half Jovis (maybe it's Jodis?) and little pieces of cracked chocolate.
Now you've made me think of them, I'm going to have to find them. I waaaaant.
Actually, that reminds me - we have an old packet of them in the cupboard (holding Meal Mates)..
Hmm. Apparently here in New Zealand their big kid name (aka something that isn't designed so 5-year-olds can say it) is Rondoletti wafer sticks.
