Siberia dropped the blanket in Juan's trunk, pushing it into the cleanest corner she could find. It’s strange…seeing it off my bed, she thought. The rain had stopped, but the moisture lingering in the air gave the temperature an unpleasant bite, even through her denim jacket.
“What’s the blanket for?” Ash asked, still holding the lid to the boot open from the side. His stutter had subsided significantly as Siberia had packed up, though had he clung almost uncomfortably close to her, sometimes fiddling with the hem of her jacket, sometimes with the ends of her hair. She had let him. It obviously helped him relax, and it wasn’t hurting anything.
“Angel blanket,” Siberia replied. She heaved the overnight bag in beside it and stepped back. “Go ahead and slam that closed. Hard as you can.” Ash closed the lid, moving around Juan to stand right next to Siberia as she lifted her backpack over one shoulder. “It helps with nightmares. Thought I’d bring it along just in case we end up stopping somewhere else for the night.”

I probably didn't get the car quite right. I had no reference. (It was raining and I didn't want to go out to look at the actual Juan--I wrote about the rain before it started, so...). Angel blanket is a real thing.
