I'm so proud of this one... my first contest entry ever for , the theme of which is night.
I really tried to get a nice night feel, something I don't pull off well. The light source is off, and the leaves could look better, but at the moment I'm just feeling so happy I finished something. Getting the time to do anything nowadays is tough... I blame full school days and majors. Gah.
If you can feel the moon, then I pulled off the moonlight, at least ^^ It's somewhere high above...
Originally, this was supposed to have a white glowy tree and a forest of them for a background, like the forest Vincent first appeared in from Advent Children. Couldn't find enough references, so I slapped this together and found I liked it better.

The leaves look nice to me. They have a subtle glimmer on them and the characters just look so sweet, snuggling up together in cool night. The sky is nicely done and perhaps you could try changing it to a blueish hue so it has a cool effect. ^_^
