I actually drew this back in January, but I never liked it enough to upload on Elfwood, and I wasn't active here back then. But, looking at it now, I really like it.A beacon in the darkness,
A leader by light,
Rustling wings come to greet
And guide me on my way.
Ok, that was a nice, random bit of poetry.

I really like her left hind leg for some reason... it's shaded well and the contrast is nice
ugh, you must've been staring at it for too long, if you take a day break you'll come back to find that it wasn't really as horrible as you once thought >3 infact, it's really beautiful^^

Thank you. That's probably what happened. The black background was frustrating me, so I think it made me not like the picture very much at the time.

I love your colored pics, but I think I love your graphite ones even more. I don't know why.. Maybe it's because you're so good at the shading and the highlights. Anyways, here's another one that i will add to my favs!

First of all, I wanted it to be obvious that this guy as two wings...not just one. And, I think it looks kind of cool. As for the tail...it's really not that short, it's just fanned out. And, ummm, well....the paper kind of stopped....
