Tsugai Kogarashi is my favorite Vocaloid song of all time and the song that got me into the fandom to begin with
I'm so happy to finally be able to cosplay this, especially with *zimiel who makes such a handsome Kaito!Credits to ~JKale for assisting us on this shoot, thanks so much!

Have I ever commented on this cosplay? If not then... I think its awesome! You both look so good! And I really like the idea of the paper-leafs (are this paper leaves? oo They look like it~)
Btw,how did you make Meikos hair decoration (uh, lack of english words :'D I mean that red thing in your hair that reminds of flowers xD) ? ^^

Aww as usual you're being far too kind hun *A* <3 Hmm the leaves are not really paper ... my Kaito was the one who brought them to the shoot so I'm not sure, but it felt sort of like a rough fabric?
For the hair ornament, I basically just used red cord trim

Yeah if it's fabric it has a more realistic-looking texture than paper 8'D and for the cord trim, you just twist the loops around itself to get that shape. What PV are you looking at?

You're right xD never thought 'bout that. Somehow the idea of paper got stuck in my head. Maybe cos there often such paper~ Never saw such fabric
Hm, that sounds easy oo I think I try it tomorrow but somehow I'm not quite sure if I'll manage to do it properly... Such a no0b at doing handicrafts (is that the right word? dictionary told me so :'D)

No I made an 'apron' as a separate piece to go under the kimono dress. Because if you watch the entire PV, there are parts where the red panel is just shown as a flat piece covering her legs, and in other shots thated panel has a split at the front. I made it accurate according to that. In the last shot it's a hakama but I don't like that look as much as the skirt & underskirt in the rest of the PV, so I made the 'apron' instead. *__*

I like the hakama-outfit, so I'll go with that (plus I really want to try to sew a hakama xD)
Btw, have to seen the Tsugai Kogarashi picture I postet on tumblr? The one with Meiko in a Kimono. That's some nice outfit for this song, too **

No no I went with two different versions that's interchangeable with the use of an 'apron' depending on how I wear it, which is the one with the straightforward flat skirt panel and the one with the slit. Otherwise I would've just made a red skirt and gone with that xD but I thought that would be boring. This way I was able to do both non-hakama versions shown in the PV.

Ah okay, I thought I saw a version how you described it but then I was mistaken ^^ But I think the version you did is more interesting than just a plain red skirt (besides, I dont know how common skirts were in old japan) ^^
It's so beautiful! I'm thinking about doing it right after the hakama-version (but currently it seems like I rather be preparing my Draco cos as soon as I finish Meiko xD)

A friend talked me into cosplaying with her this year so we had a small group for SMASH! but we didn't really do a proper shoot. Lol.
