Requested by ,he asked for a picture of Chirin standing with his fan-character,Shiro,who's suppose to be Chirin's son.I am SOOOO sorry this took so long,bud. My computer broke down a few times and I couldn't scan it.
Anyway,I made the picture a bit dark so that it would resemble the setting of the anime.

Hey no worries on it taking so long. I didn't mind. In fact this brightened up my morning. Don't know why but I started feeling cranky for some reason. But this was well worth the wait! I like your likeness of Shiro and just seeing him alongside his father wow! I hope I will write this one day. Man now I really want to delve into the father son relationship between Shiro and Chirin. I am going on vacation for a week so I am glad I was able to get this in time.
I could talk about the father son dynamics if you want since you have me going. Well if you get this comment before I have to work that is.

Well what I have planned at first would be Chirin and Shiro don't get along. Shiro blames Chirin for his mothers death since she still loved and waited for Chirin, And Chirin is well it feels really de ja vu to him. Ie a little lamp blaming another for his mothers death. That and coupled with his his "mates" death causes him to keep his distance from Shiro. Of course Chirin has no idea how to deal with a child, let alone his own. This kind of shows when Shiro wakes Chirin up in the night because he had a nightmare or has to go potty lol. Though over time the two start to warm up to each other.
I was thinking of having a scene where Shiro gets injured and Chirin looks over him hoping he wakes up. Then of course it changes as Shiro now sleeps next to him and refers to him as "Papa". I dunno what do you think? I would say more but I gotta go to work. If you respond I will probably catch you later. Sorry if it didn't sound good but my brain isn't 100 percent.

Thanks. Being a father would be a new development for Chirin. Eventually he decides to train his son like him. Although one difference is even though Shiro grows into a creature like him, he retains some of his innocence.
Though I'm glad the image of Chirin as a father isn't too far fetched. I wonder what the wolf would think?

That's interesting. Well,in the ed of the film,the wolf tells Chirin that he was proud of him. I think the wolf would be happy to see Chirin with a son,who will probably grow up to be like him one day.

You know the wolf is probably the closest thing Shiro would have to a grandfather. Though I also think Chirin's mother would be happy to know her son is a father. She would have been a very sweet grandma ( she and Cross would get along in regards to grandchildren). Now I am picturing a wolf and a lamb ghost arguing how Chirin should raise Shiro.
Chirin would probably be a mixture, he trains his son hard but at times is rather soft and tries to let him be a child at times.

Well the ghost thing was a joke, but it would make a good omake. Chirin's two parental figures trying to tell him how to raise his son. You do agree his mother would have been a caring grandma right?
As for the story. Well I was thinking after my friend and I finish Echoes of the Forgotten, I could show her the film and if she likes it, we could work on it together. That or I will just start on it myself.
