“Will you put your phone down and listen to me!?” Kate shouted tired of being ignored by her supposed boyfriend. The entire time he had just been staring at his phone scrolling through it like she wasn’t even there.

At the sound of her yelling Reed didn’t even flinch he simply continued to scroll through his phone paying little mind to her yelling. Kate rolled her eyes, her ear twitching in annoyance as she glanced towards her boyfriend and his phone. Curiosity and annoyance were present in her gaze as she tried to see what he was doing. Kate moved a little closer and put her head on his shoulder in a pretend gesture of love. Reed looked up from his phone as he noticed her, he turned off his phone to Kate’s disappointment.

“Do you need something?” Reed asked as he looked over to her head resting on his shoulder, he remained calm despite the annoyed expression on Kate’s face.

“Oh so now you pay attention to me!? I want you to put your phone down and spend time with me!” Kate demanded less curious about whatever he was doing on his phone and more annoyed with him. Reed however still had a rather neutral look on his face, his two tails swishing back and forth. This just made Kate even more, irritated she stomped down into Reed’s foot.

“Forget it!” Kate shouted before she headed out of the room slamming the door behind her causing the entire room to shake. Reed just watched it all before getting his phone back out and continuing to scroll through it not concerned about Kate’s outburst.

”Such an egotist…” Reed muttered underneath his breathe as he sat down. His ears perked up to keep a listen for Kate. However she didn’t return, Reed wasn’t too bothered by that.

Reed sat by himself scrolling on his phone, however his ears picked up on Kate coming back. Kate opened the door and closed it behind her, an irritated expression on her face. Reed put his phone down and waited for Kate to say her piece.

“Are you finally done with your phone?” Kate asked trying to mask her irritation and be mature about this situation.

”If you are done complaining I am.” Reed responds in a neutral tone. Kate looked back at him with irritation, but she sighed trying to hide it.

”Fine, I am…“ Kate sits down across from Reed who had put his phone back into his pocket. A small smile formed on his face as Kate began to simmer down.

”Lovely-.” Kate cut him off before Reed continued which caused his smile to disappear just as quickly as it came.

”Why were you spending so much time on your phone?“ Kate asked with a rather accusing tone of voice as if accusing Reed of cheating on her. After all there wasn’t much real feelings between the two, it had been an arranged relationship by there families.

”I was texting a friend, my apologies for not paying you any mind.” Reed responds with a slightly saddened expression, it was a pouty look that made Kate feel bad.

”Whatever, just yet that frown off your face.” Kate says with a dismissive wave, Reed turned his pout into a subtle smile. Which made Kate feel a lot better. The rest of the day went fine it wasn’t great but it was fine for a fake relationship.
