Ugh.I finally was able to draw something today and the timing couldn't have been better.
I decided looking through *glittersniffer 's gallery was a nice idea since her stuff is always inspiring and I was in the mood her pieces tend to show anyways.
The only issue is, is that this is waaay too much like her stuff. :/ But I suppose it rids me temporarily of my art block.
My mom kept bugging the shit out of me when I was drawing this and she of all people knows how much I hate when people look at my shit before it's finished. She still hasn't seen this, but I'm afraid she might give me some looks and request a local therapist. xDD [lol]
But whatever, art is art.
I could either draw it or reenact it...heh.
I've decided, surprisingly enough, I really like this because I've never been able to pack in so much symbolism in relation to real time. Heh.

Haha, I know what you mean about your mom, I showed my mom a piece I thoguht was really cool and she said it was ALMOST obscene so now when I look at that piece I feel a little shame... even thoguh I don't think it's obscene... *sigh* I guess my mom just doesn't get the challenges that come with art. *shrug*

True, true, but I'd rather not express it and be it XD Because I have this delution that if I express negative things, I am negative and therefore you should fear/hate/misunderstand me or something like that, haha, although I'm getting past that... slowly ;__; You look at my art for three years ago and my art now, I'm getting more adventurous with actions and what the people wear (They were all extremely modest earlier lol) Not to mention I'm trying out different body types. But generally I haven't tried giving any character a mean disposition. lol. (Although I'm working on that with my monsterous character Dinvekes...)

Ahahaha, I know how it is. I used to be afraid to draw macabre, but now I don't care as much.
I tend to go through stages. Over the passed three years it's gone from fairies, vampires, people in general, and now it's psychedelic. xD
I used to have OCs, but I haven't drawn any of them in probably a year, and before that...oh geez, two years?

Lol, maybe you should revisit drawing those OCs then, anever know it might help your art block, or design a character from a fiction you've got going if you haven't already
