<I remember years ago, someone told me I should take caution when it comes to love. I did. I did.>

You remembered when you caught the long horned troll staring at you when you closed your locker two years ago. You both blush and turn to look away from each other. You blush a little harder when you drop your books from your locker and he makes his way over towards you to help. You scramble for your books and shove them in your locker, trying to hide your embarrassment. However, you weren't fast enough.

"D-do you ,um, need help?" He asked standing above you.

"N-no, I got it." You say without looking at him grabbing a book off the floor.

"Please, let me... uh, help you." He says lowering himself to pick up the last of your books.

You watch him as he gives you the last of your books. As your hands brushed against his as you take the books, he blushes. You blush as you realize this. You just toss your books in and close your locker.

"Thank you." You say slipping glaces at him.

"You're w-welcome. I'm ,uh, Tavros."

"I'm (name)."

"It's nice to ,uh, meet you. Umm... I know this m-might be s-sudden, but will you ,uh, go out with me?"

"S-sure."

"G-great. I-I'll pick you up at ,uh, seven?"

"Uhuh." Was all you could manage to say as he started to walk away.

You just stare as Viriska leans up against your locker after he was gone for a while, kind of killing your mood.

"You made the worst mistake ever (name)."

"What do you mean?" You ask.

"He's cute, yeah. But what happens when he leaves you?"

"He's sweet, he won't leave me. Not without a reason..... Right?"

"I don't know. It's the quiet boys you have to watch out for." She says as she walks down the hallway. And you couldn't believe it at the time, but you were taking in her advice.

You two have been together for two years. You both were happy for those two years. He was extremely sweet to you. He'd take you out on your anniversary, and you'd get flowers for your birthday. Tavros has been the best boyfriend you've ever had, but you couldn't help being territorial around the other girls who thought he was cute.

You remember that one day, when a brunette stopped by Tavros's table at lunch. She was obviously flirting with him, but he wasn't telling her to go away. Instead, he was blushing at and complementing her. You were extremely jealous. You just casually walk to his table with your's and his friends and sit next to him.

"H-hi (Name)." Tavros says as you kiss his cheek. The girl then blushes a bit, before murmuring her good-bye to Tavros.

"Who was that?" You ask.

"J-just a new girl. She-e was ,uh, asking for ,uh, directions."

"Really?" ,You ask not really believing him, "Where did she want to go?"

"The ,uh, gym."

"Oh. I could show her. I mean that's on my way to my next class."

"N-no. I think she ,uh, got the ,umm, main idea."

"Oh, okay." You then begin to eat your food in silence. Once lunch was over Tavros gave you a kiss on the cheek before heading to class.

You were in math and you couldn't stop thinking about the girl that talked to Tavros at lunch. He seemed unusually jumpy and you didn't like that. You weren't sure if he was telling the truth or hiding something from you. But you eventually shook off the negative thoughts, thinking that since Tavros is so sweet that he'd never cheat on you.

Satisfied with your reasoning with yourself you concentrate on your homework that you were assigned. You kept at it until the bell rang to signal the end of school, in which you grabbed your bag and rushed out the door to find Tavros.

You leave the room and rush to your locker to grab your stuff. You wait by your locker for your boyfriend, but when he didn't show up immediately you automatically went look for him. You decided that you'd start with his last class, that'd be.... Art. You remembered now, his art class was next to the auditorium. You make your way that direction. You arrive in time to see Tavros slipping into the auditorium.

"Where's he going?" You whispered to yourself aloud. You wait awhile before following him in. You quietly let the auditorium door close behind you as you see the brunette on stage and Tavros took a seat in the front row. You hid behind technician equipment in the middle of the auditorium which wasn't far from the front.

"I'm glad you came Tavros. I was worried that your girlfriend wouldn't let you."

"I-I'm glad you, uh, invited me." She just smiled at him from the stage.

"I need you to tell me if I sound good enough to be in the school play. You'll be honest right?"

"Y-yeah. I promise." He stutters.

There was silence in the auditorium when she started acting the part of a heart broken school girl. She was quite convincing, she was saying things that you knew weren't an act. You were getting a little angry with Tavros for not telling you the truth and for not realizing her hidden message. He of course was just sitting on the stool, listening to the song itself, thinking it meant nothing. Though you were pissed at the time, you were also relieved he was clueless. If he didn't understand her hidden message, than he couldn't cheat on you. He'd walk out on her, only giving her his opinion on the act.

But it didn't happen that way.

"So, How was the act?" She asked walking towards him once she got off the stage.

"It was ,uh, good." He says blushing from her closeness as she lowered herself to his sitting level.

"How good?" She says inching her face closer to his.

"Um... Uh-" His response was cut off with her lips smashing into his.

Your blood boiled, but for a moment you had to remind yourself that it wasn't his fault. That was until you realized that the kiss was lasting longer than it should've. You were carefully watching from behind the technician equipment, and your heart broke at the sight of Tavros kissing the girl back.

You held back a sob and you started to sneak out of the auditorium. You opened the door quietly and once it closed behind you, you ran home. Meanwhile in the auditorium Tavros's conscience finally caught up to him and he lightly pushed her away.

"I can't do this to (name). I'm sorry." He then got up and left her standing there and he went looking for you.

Eventually he saw you from a distance.

"(Name). (Name), Slow down." ,He called, but you just kept running. Eventually he reached you., "(name), what's wrong?" He asked when he saw you crying.

"Nothing." You say wiping your eyes, you couldn't break it up with him. It's too much for you.

"Oh.... (name) there's something I got to ,uh, tell you. And you have to promise me.... That you'll listen."

"Sure Tavros." You say wiping your eyes as he held your face.

"I...uh....kissed... another girl..... I'm sorry." He said with tears in his eyes

"I know... When I couldn't find you.... I went looking for you.... I saw you go into the auditorium..... I followed you." You say crying.

"Why didn't you ,uh, come in with me?" He asks, beginning to cry.

"Why didn't you tell me?" You respond still crying.

"I'm sorry, (name)." He says hugging tight.

"I know." You say leaving his embrace.

"P-please. Don't leave m-me." He says as he grabs your wrist.

"It's best... For both of us." You say slipping from his grip.

"(Name)!" ,He calls after you, but you continue to walk home, "Please.... Don't..... I need you.....I love you."

But you ignore his call and kept walking.
