Description Welp... this almost feels like 'Your name'. Yup, yup it feels like it.

To tell you guys how I ended up making this new piece, well, you can just tell by the poses of the characters. I was practising simple postures, coloured them and I ended up making this poster. What can I say? My mind works in many ways

I was heavily inspired by Steins Gate when I was making the background and the characters. I put a few visual effects like the electric pole and glowing dots with lines, to sort of make this look like a sci-fi story, but also I wanted it to look like a slice of life story, so I added the filtered photo of a real street.
Also, when I decided the title, I was inspired by DDLC, which I'm still fascinated by the connection that Monika has with the player.

Having two people speak to each other from different realities is an interesting plot idea for a story I would be invested in reading or watching if given the opportunity. I just like in general psychological stories or character-driven stories, which shows the development of a character's personality and mentality. But I would like a story where the characters aren't facing the problem to close the gaps between the worlds, or without involving some military experimentation that went wrong. I think I've seen enough government involvement in the latest stories or shows I've seen. I'm not saying the government shouldn't be used as a plot device in stories, but I would prefer something like Your Name, that has out-of-body experiences between the two protagonists and can still have the plot develope between them without causing some "rupture in space and time" that needs to be fixed.

For example, the boy and girl in my drawing, let's say their story starts when they are very young (8-10 years old). They both have the feeling they are speaking to their "imaginary friend", until they realize they can speak to each other from different realities, from different locations at a specific date and time. While the years go by, they grow up, offer each other company, friendly talks, honest conversations and they can have days when they would argue with each other. They shouldn't get emotionally invested in each other because they know they can't be together, so from here you have the existential drama .It depends on how this story is handled, but I think if you can explore through different events and powerful dialogues some emotions, it can become such a good story.

Well, it's only an idea... hehe...

I'm still curious to see if someone out there is capable of making this.

Well, hope I didn't bore you with this discussion and hope you have a nice day
