H.I.R. is a fancharacter from the IZ RP I'm in. (In fact, she was the first IZ fancharacter I ever created, although she's not yet functional in the RP). Unless you count the prehensile tail, the extra sensor on her forehead, or that her eyes are orange instead of red, H.I.R. is physically identical to any other SIR unit. Her programming is extremely different, though. To make a long story short, Dib got ahold of a burnt-out SIR unit. He's been repairing it, but there are huge gaps in the Irkan code that he doesn't have the knowledge to rewrite himself, and she won't function without. (H.I.R. is kind of a background project like Tak's ship was. We're just waiting until we run out of other ideas to use, and then when we're fresh out, Dib's gonna finish fixing H.I.R. and then we'll play with her until we get more new ideas.)

To describe on how H.I.R. will function once repaired, picture this:
#1: Take a loyal, perfectly functioning SIR unit.
#2: Fry all of it's circuits halfway to hell, basically turning it into a fancy paperweight.
#3: Drop it on the ground and jump on it a few times, making it a slightly dented fancy paperweight.
#4: Put it in the washing machine, just to make sure the circuits are REALLY broken.
#5: Try to repair it, but stare at the gaps in the coding like a monkey doing a math problem.
#6: Fill in the holes in it's programming with Windows source code and see what happens.

End result: A loyal, obediant robot slave. Who crashes every two hours. And seems to secretly hate you.

We're gonna have a LOT of fun when the repairs are done.
