yeah, it can get pretty expensive. I'm having a hard time not buying all the stuff I want to get

there's still a lot free. The program is free which comes with V3 and some fairy stuff. You get Akio, and Michael for free, plus there's weekly freebie archives at DAZ3d and a couple other sites. And if you're serious about DAZ you can join the platinum club at Daz3d[which is what I did] you get a bunch of free stuff just for joining, plus you get discounts on a whole butt load of stuff.

Okay. I tried to redownload it, as I had it once, but they say they want to charge me twenty some dollars for the program which I thought was odd!
How do you add Akio and Michael on the program I never could figure that out?

To add Akio and Michael, and just about everything else, unless it installs it for you[which mine refuses to do since it's a mac] you have to go into your DAZ studio folder, go to contents, then Runtime. Then move all the stuff from the Akio/Michael folder into the corresponding folders in your runtime. It's all rather simple once you get the hang of it.
