I'll gladly admit I'm a hardcore fan of this villain... Only because in the Origins story that we came up with he has a really sad and tragic backstory, so he's not that crazed evil guy anymore, but a tragic villain and I am so living for it.

Anyways, here's some information

Mephiles the Dark

Name: Mephiles ??? Dark

Nickname: Prince Of Darks (By himself and his mother), Monster (by public), Menace (by Lights)

Age: Unknown - Was created at the dawn of time

Gender: Male - Pronouns He/Him

Race / Species: Dark - Hedgehog

Height / Length: Varies depending on his form

Weight: Varies depending on his form

Sexuality: ??? Assumed to be heterosexual

Birthday: He was created during the coldest day in February- February 5th - Zodiac sign: Aquarius (Air)

Profession: Prince of Darks but can carry out assigned missions given to him by Onyx, most consisting of assassinations and cold-hearted murders

Relationship Status: Single but had a lover millions of years ago (HINT HINT)

Nationality: Surprisingly he's based on Soleannan mobians (Italian)

Alignment: Lawful Evil

Likes: Getting revenge if someone does him wrong, Manipulating others, the despair, and suffering of those who get in his way, overpowering weaklings, A single Light; the Queen of the Elemental Kingdom, Someday bring that queen back to life, the idea of rebelling against his mother, Getting his happy ending

Dislikes: Following orders like a puppet, being unable to control his fate, losing, failure, heartbreak, All other Lights, The Realm, Mobius and the Triple S

Ability Type: Speed type

Background: Mephiles was the firstborn under Onyx's ruling. He was given the assignment to assassinate The Queen of the Elemental Kingdom, but something else happened instead, he fell in love with her and she taught him what life was truly meant to be. After bonding with her he revealed what he truly was to her, and instead of being fearful and running away from him, she accepted him and was willing to give him a chance, however, things didn't work out due to Mephiles' mother's control over him and he did end up following through with his task... Forced to live alone with the regret and guilt of what he had done to her, he vowed that he'd bring her back at any cost, even if that meant trampling over everything that stood in his way, that includes the Triple S (Sonic, Shadow and Silv)

Some head cannons for this AU
- He has three forms, which are based on the three states of matter. His dark mist form (gas), his normal "mobian" form (liquid), and his Crystalline form (Solid)
- He can sleep but he suffers from insomnia due to the horrible things he was forced to do. Because of this, he will often spend several days awake which makes him more unstable than usual.
- Unless provoked, Mephiles is quite docile and maybe even a bit withdrawn. This is because of his nature as a shadow personified and would prefer to be left alone, as he can't handle interactions very long.
- Mephiles' equilibrium is out of wack and that's why he often wobbles and shuffles when he walks. He was able to control it as he got "older" as time went by.
- Mephiles is a coward by nature
- He has a superiority complex
- Mephiles' crystalline form is like obsidian and heated volcanic glass. The crystals that normally make up his form are Amethyst, Tanzanite, Kunzite, Chalcedony and Tanzania.
- Mephiles' physical strength is weak compared to his chaos abilities and powers.
- Mephiles' eyes change color to indicate his state of mind. (The more bright and blinding, the more insane, the more dim, the more sane)
- He's naturally taller than most mobians, due to his Dark genetics
