the pose is sorta femenish.... cartoon peacocks never got to me in the Coolness Factor, they always seemed too girly

Have you seen him? He's fabulous.
And of course I know he's a man. But generally characters based around peacocks are generally very pretty, fabulous and even flamboyant due to the feathers and over all appearance of the real bird. At the very least, the characters are proud of their appearance and tend to come off in this sort of light.
