My entry for RockMiyabi ‘s Summer Contest!
WaveMan.EXE causing some trouble on a beach server… He’s convinced there should be more water than beach! Dero.EXE does not take kindly to this.
Descriptions for the characters:
Wake Flotsam is a surfing instructor for both humans and NetNavis alike with his own navi, WaveMan.EXE. Much to their joy, surfing has become a sport rising in popularity on the internet. He’s energetic and encouraging, but he can be seen as a bit over-excitable to some. He literally lives on the water, and can’t stand being away from it for too long. Of course, this means that he thinks there should be more water included on various networks, and when a beach server was in the making, he and his navi decided that there should be even more water for their beach fun! How could there be so much sand, when there are waves to catch!
Dawn Lucian is a surprisingly young programmer at SciLab, balancing her job and her school work on a regular basis. As such, she has two NetNavis: Dero.EXE who she uses for casual net surfing and school work, and DynamoMan.EXE (depicted in the back of the contest piece) who she uses at work. When at home, she’s a huge Solar Boy Django fan, a trait that she very clearly shares with Dero. Rather than gong swimming or into the water, Dawn would much rather bathe in the sun and play in the sand! This becomes a problem for Dero especially, when WaveMan and Wake decide that there should be less sand on the server…
