Kindof? It's more of an obscure thing; he's obviously inspired by punks and delinquents in Japan, with the squatting pose and pompadours. He's also inspired by geckos that are possessed by warrior spirits that gang up on intruders of the castles they hang around. Apparently they're called imori!
