Aww~ Cutie pies! ! I love this art! and I have four rescued dogs from the AAC! (I also took a abused dog from his house.. IT IS NOT STEALING IF HE IS HITTING THE DOG WITH A WHIP!!)

Not only your painting style is amazing - I love how you drew Ivy and Blue especially - I also agree with your point so hard! As long as pets are put down because nobody takes them home, I will adopt animals from shelters, instead of buying "newly" bred pups or kittens from breeders. In my country there aren't many shelter pets (fortunately) and the amount of strays is null, but there are multiple responsible international stray and rescue organisations that rehome dogs and cats from countries such as Spain, who had been given no chance in their homeland. My family's dog is coming from an organisation like this, and we've never regretted our choice to do so.

I haven't been to a Nordic country so I don't know what it's like over there, but in my area I've seen many homeless dogs and irresponsible owners that deserve their dogs to be taken and given the chance for rehoming.
The shelter I volunteered at had a qualified dog behaviourist inspect all dogs before they became available for adoption, to assess what they can and can't do. If you're into showing and breeding that's no problem, this is just my opinion (:
