Oh my god, I know your pain. I constantly had to double check where the shadow was, I was pretty much always confused as to where I have to do what. But hell, it was probably one of the most fun practice drawings I did

And don't say that! All it takes is practice. You should have seen the First time I tried doing something with colours, it was terrible! So, keep your head up, soon enough you'll get a hold of things and it'll be simple. Well, kind of simple XD A brush is surprisingly hard to handle XD
