Age for pokemon is a bit weird given the whole level and years and what not. They've been together several months before this story and level wise I'd say 10-12 at this point (with Cain possibly being maybe 15-17) age wise it's a bit weird

If you noticed in the page when Demi saw the moon he says when the volcarona goes to sleep little light bugs fill the sky, those bugs are volbeats and illumise
