So I was bored and had family over today. Being the antisocial person I am, I hid away in my room and looked for something to occupy me and in turn stumbled across my DSi XL. I popped in my old Pokemon Soul Silver game and nearly cried when I looked at the little Typhlosion following me around. When I talked to him it said "Firey playfully hugged you!" It brought me to tears to know that all of my Pokemon, even after so long, remembered me in a sense and were overjoyed to see me again. I just had to draw this. ;u;It's been so long since I last saw my Pokemon. But knowing that even after such a long stretch of time, they still remembered and loved me all the same brought tears to me eyes.
Yes, I know they're not real.
Yes, I know they just look like a bunch of pixels on a screen.
Yes, I know they're all just a game.
But to me they're so much more.
They taught me to love.
They taught me to fight.
They taught me to cry.
They taught me to feel.
They taught me to care.
And they taught me how to live.
