First drawing of the year. Not a dragon, as you can see. 
I used an illustration from a book as reference. I don't know the name of the original artist, so this is the only way I can give credits.

Omg , this is so beautiful , it looks really amazing through all the detail work you did on those feathers, they look so realistic and fluffy ^^
It's really great to see some animals in your style , since you only use a ballpoint pen right? - it's stunning how you can handle it , with those soft tranisition from light to dark , like on the front wing , it really fades out into the papers white !!
Only thing that may looks strange is the eye , I think it should be placed close to the beak , but otherwise really beautiful piece! :33
