okay...this fan art of not one, but TWO things. Hunter X Hunter and the Matrix. i did this entirely with acrylic paints and it took me forever (it was painted in 2004). the blonde is Kurapika as one of those squid twin things, the purple haired one is Killua as Morpheus, the Short(in height) black haired one is Gon as Neo and the tall ball haired one is Leorio (biscuit-boy to me)as the Agent Smith virus.sorry about the size of the pic but if i make it any smaller the picture goes grainy and pixelated...

Thanks. Yeah the mangaka seems to go on hiatus every few chapters. I understand that he's been somewhat Ill of recent times.

I doubt it's because he's ill. He may have been ill at one point but now I don' think so anymore.
Instead I think a plausible explanation for the hiatus
is that 1. He's working on Volumes 27+
and no 2. He's working on Chimera Ant arc OVA
hopefully it's number 3: BOTH 1 and 2.

Ok, I understand Gon as Neo (after all, he's the 'One' that brought the boys together as a team) and Killua as Morpheus (he leads Gon out of the naive realm), but I'm a lil 'WTF' with Leorio and Kurapika. 
I mean, is it because Leorio's usually wearing (and looking GOOD in) a suit? And because Kurapika wields chains and is reather effeminate?
^_^ Regardless, they all look awesome- especially Leorio, since he has a gun.

Leorio's supposed to be Agent Smith and Kurapia is one of the Squid Twins. I'm not exactly sure why I made them like that, but there they are. I've never been good at drawing Leorio... He never turns out right for some reason.
