"It seemed as though I was in a trance-like state...things seemed to slow and everything was out of focus. Of course I knew where I was heading, I had done this before...with the same unwanted, disappointing results. I tried to move a bit slower...the background appeared to be tinged and fading white. I wanted to give off the impression that I didn't care, this didn't matter; but inside I was in turmoil. Too late to turn around...I straightened out and hopelessly kept going. Sighing, I started to walk on past, ready for the same unrecognized, silent rejection that I had encountered so often before. So many times...
Then she turned and faced me and said the single sentence I'd been hoping for all this time.
'Sit by me?" she offered."

Okay, enough of that. Seriously, that only took like 3 minutes to write...it probably shows as well.

So here's a younger Daisy innocently sitting on a wall...alone...in the dark... Sounds like the opening of a bad slash fic.

This is what happens when Tay is inspired to actually work at a background.

Best thing here has to be the coloring...like in the opening paragraph, the outside of the pic was left white to give it the haze-y feel and look. The viewpoint's a bit odd, supposed to be looking at it from the front-left..eh whatever
Daisy's hands are awry...so's her upper body position. :/
Tried experimenting with different clothing styles. Kinda...worked...maybe? ;___: Bwah...

That. bg. took. fuggin. FOREVER.
My hands died immediately afterwards.
