Rebecca and I hiked 4.5 miles in and 2000 feet up to an absolutely pristine alpine lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains inside Sequoia National Park. This pose made every sore leg muscle worth the trip.

The white patches on the rocks of the far wall of the lake are actually snow. The far wall of the lake goes up probably about 200-300 feet. Glaciers were pretty cool things in their day.
