I cant believe I finally finished this. I started the idea for a volcano town about six months ago but the file kept corrupting.

As for the design of this place, I was going for a somewhat rural, still rather traditional place somewhat similar to Ecruteak City. Since I don't have a good pokemon gym tileset (and I'm too lazy to find a decent one now) I'm deciding to have other buildings stand in for the gyms. This town's gym is at the peak of the mountain and the gym leader will grant you access to the inside of the volcano area that will be blocked off by an npc or something and will lead to some legendary (probably heatran or groudon). There is an herb shop next to the fenced off garden. The pokemon center will have a mart inside, but there is also a farmers market type place as well (I had one of these in the hometown too). These will have some items specific to locations (this one will have lava cookies among other things).

This area will be accessed somewhat late into the game (the 5th or 6th gym).
